The project consists of the design and alteration of an existing vivarium and the addition of a new, state-of-the-art vivarium consisting of animal holding and procedure rooms in four barrier conditions (SPF, conventional, biobarrier, biohazard), Animal Biosafety Level 3, as well as administrative and support areas. The existing vivarium is to remain operational throughout the phased construction. The project includes data, telecom, public address, CCTV, wireless and security infrastructure engineering, schematic design, conceptual design, final design and construction administration services.
