Construction Type: Renovation / Airport terminal reconfiguration
Construction Cost / Size: $3,500,000
Completion Date: 2007

Provided telecommunication design services and communications construction administration services to support the Terminal C North Winglet Gate Reconfiguration. This reconfiguration is a direct result of adding winglet-ready aircraft to the Continental Airlines Fleet. The addition of winglets to the aircraft provides greater efficiency, but lengthens wingspan requiring gates and jetbridges to be relocated. The telecommunication portion of the project involved providing infrastructure design for all relocating Continental owned/operated passenger boarding bridges, gate counters (and automation), Ramp Information Display Systems, and Building Management Systems.
